  3. GREEN is a resolved issue

Problem: 11/6/2014 - No unsolved problems reported at this time

Caution:  Using a space in the SID field

Using a space in the Subscriber ID field creates an error message requiring that you use a -/\# in Claim ID Line.  Avoid this error that causes issues saving data by omitting any spaces in the SID. The SS# field requires XXX-XX-XXXX.

CautionOpen one instance of TreatWrite at a time on your computer

It is tempting to open two copies to copy and paste information.  Avoid this because the system only creates one "session id."  That means that if two instances of TreatWrite are open at the same time, you run the risk of one of the open files being altered.

CautionChrome file duplications

Start with a simple file addition to avoid creating multiple files:

  1. Enter the patient's name, DOB, and age

  2. Select Save

  3. Check the patient file to see if a file was created

CautionSaving data in a browser-based system

TreatWrite times out after one hour of inactivity.  You should save your data every five minutes while working in TreatWrite.  You should also save before you walk away from your computer and immediately when you return.

CautionTrouble saving data in Internet Explorer?

You need the compatibility mode.  Click on the icon that looks like a piece of paper in the browser URL or select the Compatibility View from the View tab on the browser toolbar.  Still confused?  Check out this Tech Tip.

Caution: Tab function in Safari

Using ‘tab’ in some versions of Safari will force the cursor to the beginning of a field.  You may avoid this problem by clicking to place your cursor in a desired location.  This is a browser issue, not a TreatWrite issue.

Caution: Enter function in Safari

Some versions of Safari fail to show the cursor in response to selecting ‘enter’.  You may need to select Enter and then click to show the cursor. This is a browser issue, not a TreatWrite issue.
